<title>Evaluating Knowledge Preferences in Question Answering via Bloom’s Taxonomy</title>

<description>Evaluating Knowledge Preferences in Question Answering via Bloom’s Taxonomy
Bimberg, Ruben; Huber, Maximilian; Kammer, Frank; Meintrup, Johannes; Siepermann, Markus
Generative Pre-trained Language Models (PLMs) can struggle with challenges such as hallucinations, particularly in domain-specific usage, where largely specific knowledge is required to correctly answer a user's prompt. A proposed solution is the inclusion of external information (i.e., not part of the PLMs trained data set). We investigate the following questions: How important is the externally provided information? How essential is the knowledge encoded within the PLM itself? And to what extent do these two sources provide complementary information? The method we apply is an automated pipeline for synthetic Question Answer (QA) generation and evaluation, where the source of the QAs is a textbook on database design. To generate QAs with increasing complexity, we make use of Bloom's taxonomy, a system classifying the cognitive dimensions of human learning processes. We find that external information improves response quality (5%), yet overlap exists between the parametric knowledge of a PLM and the external information (75%).

<link>https://publikationsserver.thm.de/xmlui/handle/123456789/494</link>
Der vorliegende Leitfaden für die Integration von Nachhaltigkeitsaspekten in Projektmanagementsysteme (kurz: LINAP) ist ein praxisorientiertes Framework, das Nachhaltigkeit systematisch in Projektmanagement und Projektportfoliomanagement übersetzt – über Projekttypen, Trigger, Verbindlichkeit, Rigor/Evidenzstufen, Gates, Rollen und Artefakte, wie z.B. das Sustainable Project Canvas oder die Hotspotanalyse.&#13;

<title>Interactive Sonification of a 2D Quantum Simulation</title>
<link>https://publikationsserver.thm.de/xmlui/handle/123456789/490</link>
<description>Interactive Sonification of a 2D Quantum Simulation
Freye, Arthur; Müller, Jannis Laurin
Based on the question of combining quantum system simulations, sonification (representation of data as sound), and interactive musical controls, this thesis shows a way to design and implement a software musical instrument with these qualities, QSynth2. The approaches to finding the design decisions and configurations are of exploratory nature, with an open process that shapes the results through expert feedback, technical capabilities and interview results. The work comprises interdisciplinary aspects. It builds on the behaviour of dynamic quantum physical systems, implementing a two-dimensional numerical simulation of the foundational Schrödinger equation. The simulation data is turned into sound using two tonal sonification methods. The sounds are playable on a multi-parameter keyboard, which allows for interactive parameter control through the hardware. The technical implementation of the resulting QSynth2 is achieved, it is usable as a musical instrument and also has potential for live performances. As a standard audio plugin, it can reach a broad audience and might motivate beginners to learn more about quantum physics by approaching it in a "musical" way. More exploration is necessary to fully understand its possibilities.

<link>https://publikationsserver.thm.de/xmlui/handle/123456789/487</link>
Huber, Lea; Spomer, Olga; Zulauf, Katrin
Ziel – Definition und Abgrenzung des Begriffs „Corporate Influencer“. Analyse des Einsatzes von Corporate Influencern als strategisches Kommunikationsinstrument in der deutschen Veranstaltungsbranche. Untersuchung damit verbundener Chancen, Risiken, Anforderungen und Erfolgsfaktoren.&#13;
Methodik – Sekundärdatenforschung mittels strukturierter Literaturrecherche und -analyse sowie Primärdatenerhebung mittels qualitativer leitfadengestützter Experteninterviews. &#13;
Ergebnisse – Aufgrund authentischer Einblicke in die Unternehmenswerte und Arbeitsrealität besitzen Corporate Influencer in der Veranstaltungsbranche ein hohes Potenzial. Chancen liegen v. a. in erhöhter Sichtbarkeit, Markenstärkung und effizientem Recruiting, während branchenspezifische Risiken wie Datenschutz, Urheberrechte und mögliche Reputationsschäden bestehen. Mitarbeitendenmotivation, Ressourcenaufwand und fehlende Strukturen stellen Herausforderungen dar.&#13;
Limitationen und Forschungsimplikationen – Fehlende Einbindung rechtlicher Expertise. Der Corporate-Influencer-Ansatz ist nicht generalisierbar und erfordert eine Anpassung an einzelne Branchen.&#13;
